Bob Distler, President & Senior Systems Consultant
Bob founded WAC Consulting in 1987 after gaining valuable experience at several high-tech and industrial manufacturing companies, including EMC Corporation and Arthur Blank & Company.
 
Although WAC’s early focus was on hardware and networking solutions, Bob quickly recognized the need for better information management tools for small- to mid-size businesses. This led him to focus the resources of WAC on selling and supporting Sage Software Pro Series products (formerly ACCPAC International and SBT Accounting Systems) and family of Vertical Solutions that integrate with the Pro Series. Over the years, this vision has enabled Bob to assemble a team of dedicated professionals with broad

experience in manufacturing, distribution, and consumer services.

In 1998, Bob guided the company to record sales, establishing WAC as a Gold Plus Level VAR for SBT accounting systems. In addition to setting overall company direction, Bob’s responsibilities as a Senior Systems Consultant include analyzing client needs, developing custom programming specifications, and managing system implementation Bob has an MBA from Northeastern University and is APICS Certified. He is a certified trainer for Sage Pro Series and has more than 20 years working with software products based on Microsoft’s Visual FoxPro platform.
