Sage Pro ERP Whole-Day Classroom Training

We have prepared a series of Sage Pro ERP training classes to meet the needs of users who may come in to their accounting role from different backgrounds. The introductory sessions will assume minimal knowledge of accounting functions, and should serve as a springboard for future development.
 
If your users are already familiar with accounting functions, then consider our intemediary training, which will go in depth into the more commonly used tools in Sage Pro.
 
Finally, the advanced training will cover topics best suited for users who have a supervisory or administrative role in your accounting department.
 
Introductory Training
 
Sage Pro ERP Introduction

Learn how to use the basic features of Sage Pro ERP that will enable you to independently manage your accounting tasks. Our “Introduction to Sage Pro ERP” is designed to provide new users with a thorough overview of the capabilities of the system. If you have never used an accounting software package, this is the session you should attend before moving on to the specific sessions on features. Time is allocated for plenty of Q&A during the day.

Course Pre-Requisite

No prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend, however basic knowledge of Windows and computers is expected, as is a basic understanding of accounting principles.  

 
Sage Pro ERP A/P and A/R

This session covers the concepts and features of the Sage Pro ERP Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules. Learn how to use the Accounts Payable module to maintain vendor records, enter invoices and payments, print checks and run analysis reports. Learn how to use the Accounts Receivable module to manage and track customer transactions quickly and easily, define customer groups and record customer transactions. Users will also gain an understanding of the transaction flow in Sage Pro ERP and will learn how to perform bank reconciliations and tax reporting. Time is allocated for plenty of Q&A during the day.

Sage Pro ERP General Ledger

This session covers the concepts and features of the Sage Pro ERP General Ledger. Users will gain a thorough understanding of the General Ledger, will learn how to set up the module to meet the specific needs of their organization, establish a multi-segmented chart of accounts, enter journal entry transactions and establish budgets.

No prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend, however basic knowledge of Windows and computers is expected, as is a basic understanding of accounting principles.  

 
Intermediate Training
 
Sage Pro ERP Order Entry

This session covers the concepts and features of the Sage Pro Order Entry module which generates, schedules, and maintains estimates, sales orders, and backlogs. This module automatically creates invoices when linked to Sage Pro Accounts Receivable and prints pick lists, UPS® C.O.D. tags and a wide variety of sales order analysis reports.    

Course Pre-Requisite

Prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend. Attendees should be familiar with the core modules, A/P, A/R, GL.

 
Sage Pro ERP Purchase Order

This session covers the Sage Pro Purchase Order, a complete purchase order processing system with real-time tracking, automatic updating of vendors and inventory account balances, and extensive reporting capabilities. This module enables you to expertly manage a broad array of vendor and inventory information, including purchases, balances and reordering.    

Course Pre-Requisite

Prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend. Attendees should be familiar with the A/P, A/R, GL, Inventory Control and Order Entry modules.

 
Sage Pro ERP Payroll

This session covers calculating and maintaining payroll and labor distribution for hourly, salaried, commissioned, and per-unit employees in an easy-to-use graphical interface. Payroll includes tax calculations for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The Payroll module can be used as a standalone solution or integrated with other Sage Pro accounting modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable (including Bank Reconciliation feature), Job Cost, and Project Accounting.    

Course Pre-Requisite

Prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend. Attendees should be familiar with the core modules, A/P, A/R, GL and have an understanding of the requirements of processing payroll for employees and contractors.

 
Sage Pro ERP Inventory Control

This session covers the Sage Pro Inventory Control module which automatically tracks inventory balances, serial numbers, lots and product line information. Learn how the tracking functionality allows you to know your inventory costs, locations, and serial numbers.     

Course Pre-Requisite

Prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend. Attendees should be familiar with the core modules, A/P, A/R, GL and have an understanding of inventory management practices.

 
Sage Pro ERP System Manager

This session covers the concepts and features of the Sage Pro ERP System Manager module, which allows users to create and maintain databases and users.  Learn the tools that ensure data integrity, streamline processing and deliver enhanced security management.     

Course Pre-Requisite: Prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend. Attendees should be familiar with the core modules, A/P, A/R, GL. 

 
Advanced Training
 
Sage Pro ERP Customization

This session covers the Sage Pro Customization Manager module enables you to customize your Sage Pro screens and preserve your changes in future builds. This powerful tool is designed to enable you to make user-specific changes to your Sage Pro screens without requiring access to source code.

Course Pre-Requisite: Prior product knowledge of Sage Pro ERP is required to attend. Attendees should be familiar with the core modules, A/P, A/R, GL, Sales Order and Purchase Order module, Inventory Control and the System Manager module.
