Dave McGillivray is Race Director of the world's oldest and most famous road race, the B.A.A. Boston Marathon  for which  he has worked tirelessly for 20 years. He has personally run 119 marathons including the Boston Marathon for the past 35 consecutive years. That's over 130,000 miles in his lifetime (to date, he is not done by far!).
 
He was inducted into the Running USA Hall of Champions in January of 2005. The Hall of Champions is intended to celebrate members of the running industry who have made exceptional contributions to the development of the sport. Inductees are nationally prominent and have a lifetime  of achievement, innovation, service and leadership in the running community.

 

We know that Dave will share with all of us a lot of his own experiences, from which we in turn can draw many lessons. If you only come for one event during our Regatta, this should be it!
