Northborough, January 18, 2005. Crystal Transport, a
Boston-based transportation company doing business in
New England since 1983, has selected WAC Consulting,
Inc., to deploy ACCPAC's Pro Series accounting system.
Crystal Transport manages a fleet of buses, vans and
motor coaches that services the corporate transportation
and event needs of many regional businesses and
universities. A long-time user of the DOS-based SBT
financial package, Crystal Transport was facing a
challenge when it needed to upgrade its servers to meet
the demands of their growing business. WAC Consulting,
Inc. assisted Crystal Transport in analyzing the
requirement of their business, which in addition to the
transportation services above also includes yacht
charters. Crystal Transport waned to retain the familiar
environment of their former accounting system, but also
wanted to take advantage of additional functionality
such as enhanced management reporting.
WAC Consulting, Inc., a long-time preferred solutions
provider of ACCPAC custom-designed the system to retain
that familiarity while integrating new scheduling, order
entry and system management modules. "We were up and
running in no time following the implementation of the
new system and the training, and we already know that
