Regatta 2006 is over - Will We See You in 2007?

Our first 2-day Business and Technology Regatta held 9/20-21 this year unfolded smoothly and brought all attendees a wealth of new product information, tips for improved operations and insights into future development of their Sage Software and other products.

To all our customers - thank you for making this event another success!

We were ambitious in putting together an agenda that covered not only the products that we offer and support, but also included sessions on sales training and management, VoIP, Business Intelligence and many others. If you ran out of time or had scheduling conflicts, let us know so that we may send you follow-up information on any of these sessions.

To all resellers - thank you for making the first Greater New England Reseller Day a success!

The first reseller day of the region got off to a great start, with over 20 resellers in attendance, and with strong Sage support as well. Thank you to all who contributed ideas and energy, and judging from the feed-back we've been receiving, we should continue hosting this event.

Regatta 2007 will again be held in the fall next year.

Time to Migrate to Sage Pro ERP

The upcoming release of Sage Pro ERP 7.4 will give many businesses a very good reason to evaluate their accounting systems. If you attended the Regatta in September, you came away with in-depth information about this new release. If not, here's a recap of the top ten features:

  • Executive Dashboard—Check the pulse of your company in seconds with real-time access to vital business information.

  • Document Routing for Order Entry and Purchase Order—Leverage this flexible feature to eliminate the drudgery and monotony of tedious manual approvals and constant paper searches.

  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) module—Streamline the process of returns management to directly and favorably impact the bottom line.

  • Request for Quote (RFQ) Manager—Simplify the quote and bid procedures with vendors from start to finish for increased accuracy and productivity.

  • Enhanced System Management Capabilities—Process closing routines in separate update, archive, and purge functions for true flexibility in tailoring your system to the way you do business.

  • EFT—New in AP, Enhanced in Payroll—Enables clients to release funds electronically using Automated Clearing House (ACH) file formats.

  • Enhanced Manufacturing productivity—New update features and enhanced filtering capabilities in Production Entry, Work Order, and Shop Control

  • Sage Common Desktop—Single launch site for Sage Pro and other Sage Software applications.

  • More Drill downs—Customizable drill-down capabilities for greater "push-button" access to critical business information.

  • Bar coding and RFID support in Inventory Control—Easily store barcodes by item in Inventory Control with update capabilities in AR and SO.
