WAC Consulting Named Business Partner of the Year for Sage Pro

WAC Consulting announced last week that we were named Business Partner  of the Year for Sage Pro by Sage Software, the developer of our  accounting software solution.

This award recognizes the work performed by WAC Consulting in identifying customer's needs and developing the right solutions to help improve their operations.

Sage Software helps small and midsized businesses to be successful through easy-to-use, scalable and customizable software. WAC Consulting, through its extensive accounting and manufacturing experience, is able to provide its clients with pertinent recommendations excellent support and ongoing advisory services. 

WAC Consulting Group Expands  

We are proud to announce that we have two new members of the WAC Consulting Group. Joining WAC Consulting, Inc., PC Helper, Adaptable Systems and CDM Associates are Account Tec of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Computer Systems and Programming of Greenville, South Carolina.

Both companies have been Sage Pro ERP Value Added Resellers for many years. Gary Jensen of Account Tec also has in-depth knowledge of additional third party products such as Data Habitat and AccuDart. Gary has a background in business accounting and finance.

Mary Clark of Computer Systems and Programming has a background in F9,  Dynamite and other Sage Pro ERP tools. She began her computing career in 1979, in a mainframe environment. Through the years, she has done programming, systems analysis and business analysis. For most of the last 20 years, she has worked in accounting-related applications including specifying, writing, implementing and supporting them. Her responsibilities now include analysis, program specification, technical support and supervision of programming resources.

Over the next few months we will be consolidating support functions and organizing resources in order to provide the finest support of Sage Pro ERP in the country.

Sage Software has released its latest version of this award-wining accounting software solutions. This release continues to offer excellent value for the midsized businesses. Here are some of the improvements:

• The year end closing process now takes 30 seconds and can be done with users in the system

• The current-history file structure has been eliminated

• The general ledger allows postings to an unlimited number of years (no more 3-year window)

• The software now includes paperless processes for purchase order routing and approval
