Thriving in the Middle of the Supply Chain

How can mid-sized industrial organizations use technologies such as the Internet, RFID and Mobile Computing to their advantage to become more competitive in the global supply chain?

We have joined with three companies that design and implement systems for manufacturers, distributors, 3PL warehouses, repair depots, laboratories, biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations to bring you a hard-hitting session that will give you tools for refining your business strategies:

  • Greg Abrams, PC Plus - "Microsoft's Initiatives - Empowering the Information Worker"

  • Dave Holliday, Winco - "Global Barcode Standards and RFID Initiatives"

Do you fax accounting documents regularly?

Check out PDFBlaster, an incredibly cost-effective solution that integrated right into your Sage Pro accounting system. The faxes go out over your internet connection - saving you hundreds of dollars over phone line costs. AR invoices, AR credit memos, AR customer statements, OE orders, OE Acknowledgements, OE bids and quotes, OE pick tickets, PO purchase orders and more can all be faxed individually, or in auto and batch-mode.

Special pricing through March 31, 2006: We're offering a significant discount off all site licenses, up to 40%. You do not need any special hardware or software, just PDFBlaster, installed, and you'll be finally able to fax your accounting documents efficiently and cost-effectively.

Monthly Outsourced EDI Online Seminars

We know it's difficult to make the time to attend educational sessions, even when such sessions can help bring about significant improvements and efficiencies to your operations. We've been running our "Cost-effective Outsourced EDI" in cooperation with Redtail Solutions for the past couple of months, and several readers asked for a different time slot.

We have now scheduled monthly seminars, which we hope will provide this flexibility in scheduling. Check out our dates. But, we are always available to schedule a one-on-one seminar, as they are conducted online, and do not require travel etc. Simply call our office to set up a good time for you.

What happened to the Regatta?

This time last year, we had started publishing advanced information about our annual event, The New England Business and Technology Regatta.

This year will be different. Not only are we moving the event to September, we are already hard at work putting together sessions, hands-on product displays and panels that represent the type of topics you've told us you wanted to learn about.

But it's not too early to reserve the date: September 14, 2006.
