Mid-Year Check-up

Are you enjoying a few slower days during the summer months? Then may we suggest a mid-year check-up for your accounting systems, so that you can avoid burning the midnight oil at year end. With a little over 6 months worth of financial data so far, it's well worthwhile to check your financial status now. Here's what we suggest:

• Review your financial reports to make sure they are accurate

• Reconcile your cash balances

• Reconcile your Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory to your control accounts

• Analysis of your year-to-date income statement to last year, same time, to discover discrepancies

• Set a game plan for the next six months, and check your financial data periodically, in order to minimize your year end headaches

New! Online Client Support Requests and Tracking Live August 1st, 2005

We've been enhancing our support procedures in order to make it easier for our clients to quickly document their questions and requests for support, and to check up on status and resolution. Our new online support system will be officially launched on August 1st. All our customers will be contacted in the next two weeks in order to set up a unique user id and password, which will allow each authorized user to login, enter a request, receive a confirmation email with a tracking number, and then be able to check up on status anytime.

New Name for ACCPAC Parent Company

Best Software announced recently that they have adopted the new company name Sage Software. The product portfolio of the company will continue to include all the software that WAC Consulting recommends and supports, but we are expecting to see a few product name changes as a result of this announcement.
